Praying to our Lord, Father of the the Universe is an important step in the daily routine of any faithful Christian follower. We often will pray for our own Dads or fathers, for their success and protection as well as our own. Jesus Christ loved his father, God. Jesus taught his disciples a simple prayer which they could recite. The verses of that famous prayer are listed below for you to read.
Our Father, Who art in heaven
Hallowed be Thy Name;
Thy kingdom come,
Thy will be done,
on earth as it is in heaven.
Give us this day our daily bread,
and forgive us our trespasses,
as we forgive those who trespass against us;
and lead us not into temptation,
but deliver us from evil. Amen.
The Bible states that prayer can lead to ones salvation on Earth and in Heaven. By showing our eternal faith and reverance to all that is Holy, we can demonstrate that we wish to live a life without sin. Our committment to the Church is seen by God and he rewards us for this faith.
Mother and Father are roles that are important in any family. These are the role models that we look up to and listen to. It is their responsibility to teach us how the rules and laws of Christianity and enough Biblical references for us to become true believers.
